Linking up with Texas Quilt Gal
Plans for the past week were:
Finish Quilting Riley Blake Block Challenge.
Done.
Make the Designer Mystery Block of the Month using Nantucket Summer. Done. Vanessa Goertzen was the designer for Block 5.
Work on the Sewcialites next block – 4. In at least one of the fabrics I’m doing it in.

Six and half inch block. Flirty designed by Chelsi Stratton, done in Nantucket Summer by Camille. And the three inch block in Seashore Drive fabric by Sherri and Chelsi.
Plans for Week of 15th November.
Make binding and machine sew one side on to the Riley Blake quilt.
Make Sewcialites Block 5 in a couple of fabrics.
Pick out what I will quilt next and organise backing and batting and pin together.
You made such cute blocks. Congrats on the finished quilt too. Overall it looks like it was a great week.

Hi Kathryn! I love how the RBBC quilt turned out. You chose such beautiful fabrics for the project – just like you did for block 5 of the mystery SAL. I just swoon over that green plaid with the navy tiny flowers. Gorgeous! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

I just swooned over the whole Nantucket Summer collection. And a very expensive swoon it was! I worked out each block is costing me $40 NZ dollars as our dollar is bad at moment. So $20 US is easily $40. I think it will be a quilt I will have to keep!!

I am happy with the RB challenge quilt, I just want to get a nice photo of it somewhere and then wash it and totally finished!

Pretty colors in your RBD quilt! Fun to see your other blocks, too. I love that tiny block! Will the 6 inch and 3 inch go in the same quilt?

Diann thank you. I will keep the 6 and 3 inch separate. Not sure what I will do with the 3 inch one as yet. Will wait till they are all finished and then decide.
