Linking up with to Do Tuesday Quilt Schmilt

Well it’s a lot of weeks since I last posted, way back in September. I did do some patchwork and quilting along the way but I stayed clear of my quilting blog because it felt like too much work! But here I am again taking stock of what I’ve down and what I have forgotten about.

I’ve completed a Spring Mystery Quilt I did with Laundry Basket quilts except I did it in Autumn colours.

I have also finished a NICU quilt and washed it. This was made from some Sewcialites blocks.I’ve also sewn up another one and am ready to quilt it.

I am up today with my Moda Blockheads blocks, except for the foundation paper piecing two, which I’ll leave out as I no longer have a printer. I don’t mind FPP but too lazy to go to a shop to get a print out. Blockheads 5 '23

I am up to date with the blocks I’ve been doing for the A Quilting Life block of the month and just waiting for the last one – December.AQL BOM '23

I have all my butterfly blocks finished and they are waiting to be sewn into a top.Butterflies

I finished totally my Designer Mystery Quilt – just needs a wash.Designer Mystery Quilt finish

I started just last week on Quiltville Bonnie Hunter’s Indigo Way Mystery sew along.  Except I am not doing it in her colours, but using dark and light green and a sort of purple/wine. It is left overs mostly from Anne of Green Gables fabric I have, although I did have to add to it. Oh well!Indigo Mystery

What’s Next.?

  • Quilt the next NICU quilt and bind it.
  • Keep up with the Bonnie Hunter sew along.
  • Sort through my tops and see what I might quilt next.
  • Order some batting.
  • Perhaps make another NICU top, to use up some scraps.
